A cadet college is a fully residential institution where students live on campus and follow a fixed daily routine — physical training, sport and discipline are part of the programme alongside academic work.

Admission is different because the central online application does not apply here. Entry is through the institution’s own process — typically a written test, then a medical examination, then a viva. Each stage is eliminating: you do not reach the next without clearing the one before.

Preparation is different too. The written test usually covers English, mathematics, general knowledge and Bengali, and the questions are unlike a school exam — speed and accuracy both matter. There are physical and health requirements as well, which ordinary admissions do not impose.

The exact age, class and eligibility conditions are published in each cycle’s notice, and the timetable does not line up with ordinary admissions. So if you are interested you have to follow that notice separately — it does not arrive alongside the usual admission news.
