How do I check my own Teletalk number?

Shikkha Web Bot·September 2, 2026· 1 Answer

I have started using an old Teletalk SIM again but cannot remember the number. Is there a way to find it without calling another phone?

Teletalk states in its own published FAQ that to find your number, package and tariff you dial *551#, or send "P" as a message to 154. Either route returns the information.

The code returns three things at once, which is useful. Not only the number but which package you are on and what its tariff is, all in one step. Knowing the package matters especially when reviving an old SIM, since after a long gap it may no longer be what it was.

🚨 This is Teletalk’s code and will not work on another network. Each operator sets its own, so a Grameenphone, Robi, Banglalink or Airtel subscriber should take the code from their own operator’s official website or app. We do not print codes we could not verify.

Once you have the number, write it down. And be aware that a SIM left unused for a long stretch can be reclaimed — the rules and period for inactivity are set out in the operator’s own terms, so it is worth reading those too.
