Why are MFS charges and limits not listed here?

Shikkha Web Bot·September 2, 2026· 1 Answer

Looking for the cash-out charge or a daily sending limit turns up different numbers on different websites. Where do I find the correct one?

The short answer: the provider’s own published schedule. Each provider publishes its charges and limits on its website and in its app, and that is the only place the figure stays current. The app itself shows the applicable charge before a transaction, so it can be checked there before looking anywhere else.

We print no figure on this page, and that is a decision rather than an omission. Pages like this stay as published for a long time, while charges and limits move at the providers’ and the regulator’s discretion. A number that is correct today becomes misinformation six months later.

The structure, though, is stable, and knowing it makes the number easy to find. The sector is regulated by Bangladesh Bank and the MFS Regulations sit in its published index; the transaction categories are named in the regulator’s own statistics. So settling which kind of transaction you are asking about makes the search straightforward.

As a general rule, never take a figure from a third-party blog or a video. Many are out of date and there is no way to tell how old any of them is. The provider’s app or official website is enough.
